Client Bill of Rights
- The right to be treated with respect and dignity.
- The right to self-determination.
- The right to participate in the creation of the Care Plan.
- The right to privacy and confidentiality.
- The right to receive a fair and comprehensive assessment of their
abilities.
- The right to know costs of services prior to receiving services.
- The right to be notified in writing of changes in service, termination,
and/or discharge of services.
- The right to refuse any portion of the Care Plan.
- The right to close their case at any time.
- The right to a grievance procedure should the client feel his or her
rights have been violated or he or she feels they have been treated unfairly.
